14 Days of Hearts & Love!

 

 

We thought it would be fun to count down to Valentine's Day

with our dolls.

 

Since Valentine's Day is the 14th of this month,

we are celebrating 14 Days of Hearts & Love with our dolls this month!

 

Join us tomorrow when our count-down begins!

Bathroom Beveled Mirror

 

 

The  bathroom is almost finished.

We think.

Except we are still talking about wall colors,

and the possibility of wallpaper.

 

We just added the mirror earlier this week.

{It is a beveled 5X7 oval.}

We loved the suggestion of door pulls for towel racks.

We are on the lookout for some that we love.

 

 



Anna's Craft Cottage Update

 

Our dolls are getting excited for Valentine's Day!

 

We've started to add a few details to our Craft Cottage for Valentine's Day --

a little jar of hearts,

a few chalkboard signs,

a Valentine's Day mailbox.

mini pink/red envelopes,

a red crocheted rug,

and a fun Valentine's Day project

 

 

We thought it would be fun to offer a class at Anna's Craft Cottage for Valentine's Day.

'The Key to My Heart' craft class seemed perfect -- and it is super simple.

 

We just glued a mini doll-sized key onto a piece of cardstock and put it in a mini frame.

This week we'll be decorating the Cottage for Valentine's Day [photo below].

Degas Painting

 

 

We have set up a corner of the attic to be a bedroom.

We recently added the Degas painting {a favorite} to our attic wall.

The inside of the frame is about 3X3.

 

The aqua cabinet is our sewing cabinet.

The little water game is from a local toy store.

The Eiffel Tower is a ring holder from Michael's.
{It was part of our AG advent.}

Laundry Room Update

 

The laundry room is just about finished!

 

The flooring and magnetic light were found at Lowe's.

The laundry set is from OG -- found at Target.

We've added a few things to the walls --

a framed piece of art [scrapbook paper] and a mirror just to make it more fun.

Laundry baskets, rug, and aqua frame are from Michael's.

The mirror is one we had -- we added the pink trim for a little color.

 

 



Let Them Make Cupcakes!

 

 

This weekend, we tried our first attempt at polymer clay cupcakes.

We made a mold from a toothpaste lid.

It was a fun project!

For our first try, I think they turned out great!

 

We're getting ready for our 14 Days of AG Hearts & Love!

 

We also made the silver display stand.

We used a finial piece and a wooden disc from Michael's.

{The silver/gray doily is from the scrapbook section of Michael's.}
 



We've moved the stand to Anna's Craft Cottage

for the Valentine's Day Open House!
