Orange & Black

Orange & Black --
A retro outfit inspired by Halloween.

Since we've already worn our costumes a few times --
parties, school, photos -- we thought it would be fun to share an orange/black outfit.

{Halloween is still four days away, but the celebrating can never come too early!}

Fashion Friday -- Costume Edition

A gypsy costume might be my all-time-favorite costume.
{Something about those bright colors, scarves, beads, and flowing fabrics!}
The girls in our family have all been gypsies for at least one Halloween.
So. Much. Fun!

The perfect costume for Saige!
Lots of color {artist girl} and her eyes are so pretty with pink!

She's ready to do some serious trick-or-treating!

Cheers to Fashion.
Cheers to Fridays.
And cheers to the fact that Halloween
is only SEVENTEEN days away!

October Doll Fun -- Make Mini Bottle Brush Trees

We're planning a little Halloween party with our dolls.
We thought it would be fun to make some decorations for the party.
These mini bottle brush trees are just the right size.

October Doll Fun -- Trick-or-Treat bags!

Have you decided what type of bags to use for your trick-or-treaters?

Here are a few of our favorites.

Homemade bags made from scraps of fabric.
Little jack-o-lantern bag created for dolls.
The plastic cauldron and the jack-o-lantern are from the local party shop.
{They are for party favors, but they are the perfect size for 18 inch dolls.}
The vintage paper sacks are my favorite!
They are unique, easy to make, and darling.
You can find graphics on-line to create your own.
These were an instant download purchased from Etsy!

Which one is your favorite?
Do you have another idea for a trick-or-treat bag for your 18 inch dolls?

Baking Candy Corn Cookies!

Autumn feels like the best time for baking.
Cooler temperatures outside make it cozier inside -- especially when the oven is on.
