At the beginning of the summer 2013,
we started an American Girl at Play adventure.
Tired of setting up fun play in a bedroom {only to have to put it away too soon}
we decided to convert an under-the-stairs closet into an American Girl play space.
The door can easily be closed and the mess concealed.
{Hooray for concealed messes!}
This is our adventure!
Our space is made out of:
1 -- 24 by 48 inch box
1 -- 48 inch sloped-roof box
5 -- 24 by 24 inch boxes
1 -- 24 by 16 inch closet for clothing storage
We will be painting and creating in this space all summer.

ReplyDeleteWe had some custom work done in our home, and the same craftsman built the boxes for us. We needed to make sure the boxes fit the specific measurements under our stairs. That doesn't really help you, but maybe you could find someone in your area to help you...
